Christmas Letter - 2019

Updated: Apr 7, 2020

Merry Christmas Friends and Family! We hope this holiday season finds you and yours well, with days full of warmth, relaxation, love, and laughter!

We are doing well, enjoying a bit of “down time” before the chaos of kidding and calving begins. The past year has been a busy one, it’s hard to believe the holiday season is already upon us! January will mark one year in our new home. YAY! We are enjoying our new space as newlyweds and feel grateful that we are truly beginning to build our future together. With that being said… we are also learning what it means to be home owners. To do lists are never ending and projects are constant...as if we needed more of those.

Picture from does on pasture this fall. We can always tell when kidding is getting closer. The girls become much more friendly, and photogenic.

As for our careers, we are both enjoying the same work as last year. We are thankful that we both have jobs that we feel passionate about and find joy in doing. Ethan still works the family farm with his dad Craig, and Faith continues to travel the region, recruiting future Central Washington Wildcats! This fall we faced a few unexpected stressors as we both took on increased job responsibilities, but we made it out alive. *Breathes sigh of relief*.

While I was out on the road, Ethan was able to pay me a visit in the Tri-Cities. We enjoyed some great brews and amazing wood fired pizza at the Bombing Range in Richland. YUM!

When we aren’t working our full time jobs, or working on projects around the house, we are trying to build our own little business. This past year we landed on a name, (Bar O Bar Livestock), started some company branding, and launched our website (incase you didn’t notice). Looking forward to 2020, we hope to spend some of next year building a more thorough business plan, shoring up a few more goat pens, and making our way through the ongoing to do list.

As for the question everyone has been asking… we are planning to have kids in 2020... lots and lots of 4 legged ones, expected delivery January 20th. LOL!! Sorry Grandma.

We are so thankful for the many wonderful people in our lives. We hope your homes and hearts are filled with warmth and good cheer this holiday season, and may the joy and peace of Christmas be with you all through the New Year!

Warmly,

Faith & Ethan
